With a Master’s of Education in Nutrition, and a Massachusetts teaching license in Health/Family and Consumer Sciences, Cori Lucius comes to Kidsborough with extensive experience working with and developing programs for school-age children. She is eager to start implementing an exciting array of activities for the children at Kane!
Cori’s first real job was as a summer day camp counselor in West Boylston. Even though she was a teenager and mere years older than our Kidsborough kids, she says, “it was that job that taught me my future needed to involve working with, and educating, children. Those summers shaped my academic and career paths.”
Cori and her husband, Mike, share their home with Charlie, their 9 year old rescue Cairn terrier. They are hoping to adopt Boo, another terrier pup, soon! In her spare time Cori enjoys weekend outings browsing flea markets for hidden treasures; spending time creating in her “studio”; and watching “Jeopardy, Tournament of Champions”!
