Summer Program

SUMMER 2012 COMING SOON!

See some of the exciting themes from last summer below, and stay tuned for this year's themes - be they new, or one of our ever-popular oldies but goodies!

The Program: As we enter our 12th Summer Season in 2011, the Kidsborough staff is hard at work planning our best summer ever! The children will enjoy a new theme each week which includes many enrichment-based activities such as:science, art, outdoor play, cooking, theme-based group activities, computer and math games. Examples of our themes include: “Mr. P’s Time Machine,” “Halloween in July,” “Tourist Trap” and our summer favorite “Carnival Week.”

Size/Ratios: Our summer program is designed to meet the needs of children who aren’t quite ready for a “mega-camp” experience. Therefore, our program is limited to 26-32 children per session.

Students are grouped by grade, K-2 and 3-5. This allows the children to participate in activities with their peers, and allows the instructor to customize the curriculum.

Program Staff: All group leaders exceed the state requirements for their positions and mosthave a Bachelor’s degree.

Program Hours: Children are welcome as early as 7:30 a.m., and may be picked–up as late as 6:00 p.m. Structured programs run between 10:00am-4:00pm.

Program Schedule: The program begins June 27, 2010 and runs for 9 weeks throughAugust 26th. Kidsborough offers both full and part-time attendance. Children may attend as little as 1day or the entire 9 weeks. We provide healthy morning and afternoon snacks.

Program Tuition: The all-inclusive fee is $300/per week for full-time attendance. Part–time is $60 per day. Our two field trip days are $15 extra. Sibling discounts are available, depending upon planned attendance.
